Remote administration for IT issues

At NMBU we offer remote administration for IT issues if conventional support via telephone does not solve a problem. Remote administration must be coordinated with IT-support.

On campus we use Remote Desktop. Off campus we use Teamvewer.

To initiate an remote administration session using Teamviewer you must visit the following webpage

Accept to run the application. You will be given an ID and a password. This must be given to IT-support, and they will than have access to your computer, wherever you are located.

This link will also work for Linux computers. You must extract an archive which contains the application and a wine library. Run the executable file “teamviewer” to initiate the application.
